VGA splitter connection method and common problems
The VGA distributor has a built-in signal amplification module, which amplifies the input VGA analog signal. Using the Greenlink 3+6 VGA cable with a wire gauge of 26AWG can achieve long-distance transmission of 25 meters. Support 250MHZ bandwidth, and the resolution can support up to 1920*1440 60HZ. The connection method of this product is simple: as shown in the figure above, connect the male VGA cable of the VGA splitter to the signal source, and then use two VGA cables to connect the VGA splitter and the display device with the VGA interface respectively.
common problem:
1: Under what circumstances is an external power supply required?
A: Only when the VGA interface of the signal source device does not support current output, this VGA splitter needs an external power supply.
2. Do both interfaces of the VGA splitter support the DDC function?
A: Only VGA OUT1 interface supports, OUT2 interface does not support. The DDC function allows the VGA distributor to intelligently identify the display information, adjust the best resolution, and achieve the best experience.
3. Can I connect one monitor, and the other interface is connected to the VGA cable alone, without the display device?
Answer: No, when the VGA cable is connected to the VGA splitter, it must be connected to the monitor and cannot be connected empty, otherwise it will form a source of interference and affect the display quality.
